The Ferretti Range

Flybridge Range is the core of the Ferretti Yachts production programme, covering composite planing motor yachts from 45 to over 100 feet. The current flybridge lineup includes the Ferretti 500, 550, 580, 670, 720, 780, 860, 920, 1000, and the flagship Ferretti 1000, which is powered by MTU engines producing up to 2,638 horsepower across five cabins. The Flybridge range is designed and developed in collaboration with Studio Zuccon International Project, whose relationship with Ferretti Yachts spans several decades and has produced some of the most consistently recognised flybridge designs in the production motor yacht market. The range is built using XFT (Cross Fiber Technology), Ferretti's proprietary composite construction method that increases hull strength by 16% and reduces weight compared to conventional fibreglass construction.

Infynito Range is Ferretti's explorer-oriented line, launched from 2023. The Infynito 90 integrates solar panels and battery packs, allowing emission-free and noise-free operation at anchor and at low speed, marking Ferretti's first production model with a meaningful hybrid energy management system. The Infynito range extends the Ferretti Yachts identity into the long-range and sustainability-focused segment without departing from the yard's characteristic flybridge silhouette.

About Ferretti Yachts

Ferretti Yachts was founded in 1968 in Bologna, Italy by brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti, who added a boat dealership to their family's luxury automobile business, which represented brands including Maserati and Lamborghini. The brothers launched their first yacht of their own design at the Genoa Boat Show in 1971: a 10-metre wooden motorsailer. By 1975 they had committed fully to boatbuilding, and by 1982 had switched their focus entirely to power vessels, launching the first Ferretti motor yacht series that year.

In the 1990s, Norberto Ferretti entered offshore powerboat racing, becoming the Class One Offshore Powerboat World Champion in 1994. The experience drove significant technological development within the yard, including the pioneering use of carbon fibre hulls cured in an autoclave, and contributed directly to the engineering philosophy that informs the current range.

The Ferretti Group expanded through a series of strategic acquisitions, bringing Pershing, Riva, Itama, CRN, Custom Line, and Wally into the group alongside the founding Ferretti Yachts brand. In 2012 the Chinese engineering group Weichai Holding acquired a controlling interest in Ferretti Group, providing approximately half a billion euros in capital that stabilised the business and funded the product expansion programme that followed. In 2022 Ferretti Group completed a dual listing on the Hong Kong and Milan stock exchanges.

Today Ferretti Yachts builds from its facility in Forli and distributes through a dealer network spanning over 70 countries. The Ferretti 960, launched in 2013, remains the largest planing motor yacht built by any Ferretti Group shipyard to date.

Ferretti Yachts is also the parent company of the ARG gyroscopic stabiliser brand, developed in-house and offered across the Ferretti Group range.
