The Eagle 44 was designed in close cooperation with Dykstra Naval Architects and equally inspired by famous racing Js of the 1930s. The use of modern materials and a modern keel shape has resulted in an elegant modern classic daysailer with a magnificent cockpit. Practical, functionality and stylish design meet throughout the Eagle 44, with a fine balance between the various materials, mahogany, stainless steel and luxury fabrics. Excellent controlThis 44 foot sailboat is equipped with a &nbsp;mahogany/stainless steel steering wheel that guarantees excellent control and manoeuvrability while sailing or using the inboard Volvo sail-drive. The winches are positioned within easy reach of the helmsman to make&nbsp;<a href="https://www.leonardoyachts.com/single-handed-sailboat/" class="text-primary-accent hover:underline">single-handed sailing</a>&nbsp;possible. Combined with the long cockpit benches and comfortable cushions, you can bring up to eight friends or family-members. Combined with the use of modern design and materials also her performance will stand out. This 46-foot sail yacht will be available in 2 different hull materials with matching set up at choice. There are two interior options, one with the galley and heads near the cabin entrance and a version with the galley and heads further forward. The second variant has two additional pilot bunks. Both layouts feature a large saloon with the owner's berth near the bow. Since this 54-foot yacht is a semi-customized vessel, the owners can decide on the interior design themselves.
