<h6 class="heading3" dir="ltr"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">The fortune of Nautor’s Swan was born with a 36 footer, one of the first few yachts built in fibre-glass. When the Swan 36 arrived on the scene a new precedent was set. With her combination of fast lines, incorporating the modern separated fin keel and skeg hung rudder, and her fully fitted interior, she represented one of the very first production racer/cruisers. She was a hit from the start with the delivery of 90 boats in just three years between 1967 and 1970. Her success on the race course in the UK began at Cowes Week in 1968, when Dave Johnson and Michael Hurrell’s Casse Tete II won every one of their races. Elsewhere she was regularly winning, and turning plenty of heads. The Swan style and marque had been born along with a formula that would develop quickly in the years to come, helped in part by the Admiral’s Cup. After 52 years of the same enthusiasm and belief in innovation, these are still the basic ingredients for creating the ClubSwan 36.</span></h6><p class="m-0" dir="ltr"><br></p><h4 class="heading1" style="text-align: left;"><br></h4>

<h6 class="heading3" dir="ltr"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Nautor Swan has always offered high-performance racing yachts to complement its classic range of cruising Swans, yachts such as the 39 and the 441 in Racing versions. Today the yard uses its new ClubSwan models to test the most modern trends in design, materials, and solutions, refining technologies that will then be used for the benefit of the cruising models. Like the Swan 45 and ClubSwan 42, successful one designs still winning in top-level races. But with the ClubSwan 50 Nautor has pushed the limits, proposing a yacht that is a small revelation in performance and pure sailing pleasure. </span></h6><h6 class="heading3"><br></h6><h6 class="heading3" dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">The architect Juan Kouyoumdijan said that the performance comes from two main areas: the first one is optimizing the relationship between key parameters such as length, displacement, sail area, and righting moment; the second is a specific refinement of these parameters within themselves.</span></h6><h6 class="heading3"><br></h6><h6 class="heading3" dir="ltr"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">According to him, the construction in full pre-preg and Sprint carbon fiber. The structures were designed in complete compliance to ISO Standards. The criteria was to minimize weight whilst keeping the construction method and procedure in line with that of a serial production setup.  </span></h6><p class="m-0" dir="ltr"><br></p>

<h6 class="heading3" dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">With a well-established Swan One Design Circuit and a high participation of ClubSwan Yachts in the established regattas, Nautor Swan gives a new boost to the range by introducing the ClubSwan 43. Designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, the brand-new ClubSwan 43 is at the cutting edge of contemporary yacht design, she is a perfect crossover: a full racer able of competing in the most captivating races worldwide and with the possibility to offer a ‘sport-cruising’ experience.</span></h6><p class="m-0" dir="ltr"><br></p><h6 class="heading3" dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">For this innovative project, Nautor Swan’s in-house experts and Juan K are combining forces with a leading team of professionals in the field. Pure Design &amp; Engineering has been entrusted for the engineering, while the interior design comes from the drawing tables of Lucio Micheletti, Micheletti+Partners.</span></h6><p class="m-0" dir="ltr"><br></p><h6 class="heading3" dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">The yacht has been conceived as a One Design package, as per Nautor’s expertise in this segment, which includes a professionally managed Class and she will be able to take part in the dedicated Swan One Design Circuits, such as The Nations League and the Swan One Design Worlds. Importantly, she is also being conceived to be competitive under ORC Cat. B.</span></h6>
