The Princess Range

V Class is the performance sports yacht line, running from 39 to 65 feet and built on Bernard Olesinski-designed deep-V hulls. The V39 through V78 combine open cockpits, hardtops, and sports cruiser profiles with Princess's characteristic interior quality. The V Class has been in continuous production since 1994 and remains one of Princess's best-selling lines globally.

F Class covers flybridge motor yachts from 45 to 70 feet. The F Class delivers Princess's signature combination of seakeeping, interior volume, and exterior styling in a traditional flybridge format, with models including the F45, F50, F55, F65, and F70 covering the most active segment of the production motor yacht market.

S Class is the sportbridge range, combining a fixed hardtop with a flybridge in a hybrid format first introduced with the S65. The S Class suits owners who want flybridge amenity with a sportier, more sheltered profile than a traditional open flybridge.

Y Class runs from 72 to 85 feet and was designed in collaboration with Pininfarina. The Y Class offers full-beam owner's suites, multiple guest staterooms, and the volume and range for extended Mediterranean and Atlantic cruising. The Y72 and Y85 are among the most recognised Princess models in the superyacht segment.

X Class is Princess's flagship superyacht line and the replacement for the M Class range. The X Class introduced the "Superfly" concept: a vast upper deck space with panoramic glazing and a full-beam saloon, across models including the X80 and X95. The first X90 launched in 2025, extending the range further.

R Class is Princess's carbon-fibre performance flagship, developed in collaboration with BAR Technologies (founded by Sir Ben Ainslie) and styled by Pininfarina. The R Class features Princess's Active Foil System and a carbon-fibre monocoque hull, making it the fastest and most technically advanced vessel Princess has produced to date.

C Class is Princess's newest line, expanding into the centre console segment with the C91 and C75, available with outdrive or outboard power options.

About Princess Yachts

Princess Yachts was founded in Plymouth, England in 1965 as Marine Projects by ex-naval officer David King. The company's first model, Project 31, was built in a rented shed on Newport Street. The first vessel to carry the Princess name, the Princess 32, launched in 1969. The first flybridge model followed in 1974.

Six decades later, Princess operates five sites across Plymouth covering over 1.1 million square feet and employs more than 3,000 people, making it one of the city's largest employers. The yard remains headquartered on Newport Street, the same address where it began. Princess distributes through a network spanning 118 countries.

Key milestones include the Queen's Award for Export Achievement in 1988, the US market partnership with Viking Yachts in 1995, the launch of the first M Class superyacht in 2001, acquisition by LVMH in 2008, the R Class collaboration with BAR Technologies and Pininfarina in 2018, and acquisition by KPS Capital Partners in 2023. Princess has won over 50 industry awards across its model range and was the first British yard to achieve RINA Green Plus (Y) notation for its entire range.

Naval architecture across the Princess range is the work of Bernard Olesinski, whose deep-V hull designs have defined the yard's seakeeping reputation since 1980.
