A unique opportunity to own a “Performance Race Optimized” ex-demo, mint condition Sun Fast 3300 that has been lightly used and meticulously maintained since it was launched in the Summer of 2023. 

AVALON has the “Performance Race Optimized” (PRO) package, which includes a longer bow sprit, a full inventory of North 3Di sails, B&G H5000 Offshore instruments and autopilot, carbon mast and boom, and upgraded deck gear and running rigging. All excess weight has been removed from the boat, and the bottom has been race prepped. AVALON had a successful season, including winning the Ida Lewis Distance Race by one hour and twenty minutes on corrected time!

Bluenose Yachts and North Sails have more experience with the Sun Fast 3300 than any other Jeanneau dealer and has worked closely with Ken Read of North Sails to optimize the sails and make many other improvements to the boat. Our combined experience racing and optimizing the Sun Fast 3300 is unsurpassed in the USA and is routinely shared with all USA Sun Fast owners.

AVALON is the ideal boat for the ORC Worlds, which are being held in Newport in September, 2024.

The Sun Fast 3300 has won more doublehanded races on the east coast of the USA than any other boat and is one of the fastest growing classes in the world!

The Verdier/Andrieu designed Sun Fast 3300 has excelled in the offshore short-handed racing circuit, including 2nd in class in the 2022 Newport Bermuda Race, winning the inaugural Bermuda Shorthanded Return, 3rd in class in the 2023 Marion Bermuda Race, first in class in the 2022 and 2023 Ida Lewis Distance Race, and wins in the New England Solo Twin Championships and Sam Wetherill Races. Around the world, the Sun Fast 3300 won the 2023 ORC Doublehanded Worlds and came first in the doublehanded class and first in the ORC division of the Middle Sea Race.

The Sun Fast 3300 features many innovations, including an infusion-molded hull for added stiffness and reduced weight, twin rudders for greater control, a high-volume reverse bow for improved downwind performance, and a cockpit set up for shorthanded sailing. Sailing fully crewed, doublehanded or singlehanded, the Sun Fast 3300 is a blast to sail and can hit speeds in excess of 20 knots!
