A complete decommissioned Boeing 747 sitting on the seabed at 20m, the largest aircraft ever deliberately sunk, with wings, fuselage and cockpit intact and swim-throughs the length of the cabin. Around it, a replica Bahraini pearl-merchant house, coral sculptures and artificial reef modules across 100,000 square metres. Opened in August 2019 as the world's largest underwater theme park, a Bahraini government project pairing eco-tourism with reef restoration. The 747's interior was stripped of all hazardous material and fuel over months of preparation; the pearl-house replica references Bahrain's pre-oil pearling economy, which UNESCO lists as world heritage. Anchorage: Sheltered Gulf anchoring off Diyar Al Muharraq; short tender run to the moorings. Hazards: Summer water hits 33°C+ and surface heat is extreme May-Sep.
