Three Type 95 light tanks sitting on the foredeck in 48m, turrets intact, exactly where they were lashed in 1944. Holds full of mines, torpedoes, aircraft engines and trucks. The deepest and most coveted dive in Truk. Sunk in Operation Hailstone, February 1944. The nickname came from the value of her cargo, the tanks on deck make her the most photographed deep wreck in the Pacific. Depth keeps the crowds off; this is a technical diver's pilgrimage. Anchorage: Liveaboard. Hazards: No site-specific hazards noted, brief normally.
