Our History
Co-founders Heigo and Anh met by chance in a hostel 10 years ago, and have been friends and business partners ever since.
Anh built his expertise in creating beautiful, functional, and large-scale software as a Software Engineer at Flipboard and Uber, later leading the software development team at Uber Freight. Over the years, Anh and Heigo have collaborated on numerous projects inside and outside the yachting industry.
Heigo moved to the United States in 2011 and began his entrepreneurial journey in the corporate housing industry in Silicon Valley. After successfully scaling that business, he gained further experience in technology and software ventures before turning his focus to the yachting sector, where he recognized a major opportunity for innovation. He has since taken his expertise to Miami, where he is building YachtWay—the fastest-growing platform in the global yachting industry.
Together, Anh and Heigo combine deep experience in technology and business with a shared drive to modernize yachting. YachtWay is the product of a years-long friendship, a passion for innovation, and the belief that boating should be simpler, smarter, and more accessible for everyone.
