Vanquish VQ115 Video Review: A First Look at a 115 ft Superyacht
By the YachtWay editorial deskUpdated October 2026Video walkthrough6 min read
The Vanquish VQ115 is the builder's 115 ft flagship. We got a first look before her public debut, so the flybridge and some areas were off limits. We saw a transformer swim platform, a garage for her own VQ16 tender, an aft deck with dining and a sunbed, a main deck lounge with a bar, a helm with huge Garmin screens, a galley below with a dining nook and three cabins plus a media room.
Detail beyond the usual superyacht level
Vanquish has gone further than most on the VQ115. The cleats and winches are blacked out to match the boat, the handrails sit flush with the bulwarks, the hinges are engineered like those on much bigger yachts and even a hidden seat mechanism box is wrapped in leather. Every room has its own iPad for lights, shades and AC. This was a preliminary tour, with a full one planned once she reaches Miami.
What stood out on board
- A transformer platformIt folds into steps to the water and doubles as a passerelle.
- Its own tenderA custom VQ16 lives in the garage at the stern.
- Blacked-out hardwareCleats, winches and even the cutouts are black to match.
- A hardwired engine shutdownA separate panel stops the engines if the wireless controls fail.
- Light-proof cabin doorsA rubber strip drops when the door closes, so no light gets in.
- A sliding cupboardIn the galley, a whole unit glides out with one finger.

Even in a short preview, the VQ115 shows how far Vanquish takes the details, from the black cleats to the leather-wrapped boxes nobody will ever see. The transformer platform, the tender garage and the light-proof cabins are real highlights, and the cabins are bright and roomy. We look forward to the full tour, but she is already one of the most impressive fast yachts we have seen.
