The shallower sister site, mermaid and human casts in 10m, reachable by strong freedivers as well as scuba. Juvenile reef fish swarm the modules. A later 1000 Mermaids deployment (published position N 25°59.2913 W 80°05.6623), placed shallow deliberately to widen access and speed coral recruitment. Anchorage: Nearshore site; short run from Port Everglades. Hazards: No site-specific hazards noted, brief normally.
