A natural limestone chimney beside the shore that drops to 26m and exits through an arch onto an open wall, one of the most photographed dive entries in Europe. Since 2017 the site also includes the collapsed blocks of the Azure Window, now a boulder field on the seabed. The Azure Window, Malta's most famous landmark and a 'Game of Thrones' filming location, collapsed into the sea in a storm on 8 March 2017. Divers who knew it from above now swim through its ruins, a landmark that only exists underwater. Anchorage: Exposed NW coast, day anchoring off Dwejra in settled weather only. Hazards: No site-specific hazards noted, brief normally.
