An 1867 wooden schooner sitting in 6m of water so clear she is fully visible from the surface, every frame, plank and rib. Freshwater doesn't eat wood the way salt does, so this is what a Victorian hull actually looked like. Twenty-plus other wrecks in the park. Damaged off Cove Island in 1885, towed into Big Tub Harbour for repairs, and abandoned there. Canada's most-visited shipwreck, protected within Fathom Five, the country's first national marine conservation area. Anchorage: Tobermory's Little Tub Harbour; Big Tub is boat-restricted over the wrecks. Hazards: Tobermory's Little Tub Harbour; Big Tub is boat-restricted over the wrecks.
