A cast-iron grand piano on white sand with a mermaid draped across it, arm outstretched. Absurd, cinematic, and shallow enough that the whole thing is visible from a dinghy. Commissioned by magician David Copperfield, who owns neighbouring Musha Cay, and sunk around 2010 as a private folly. It has quietly become the most photographed sculpture in the Exumas, reachable only by boat, which is exactly why it stayed a secret so long. Anchorage: Excellent, anchor in the lee of Rudder Cut Cay in 4-6m sand, classic Exuma overnight. Hazards: No site-specific hazards noted, brief normally.
