Axopar 45 XC Cross Cabin Video Review: Gullwing Doors and Fold-Downs

The Axopar 45 XC Cross Cabin is the flagship of the Axopar range, with an enclosed cabin and the brand's gullwing doors. Ryan Anderson from Jeff Brown Yachts walked us through her at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, along with the open 45 Sun Top. The cabin has dining for eight and a movable galley, the stern sides fold down, and below there is a forward cabin with a full-size head.
An Axopar with a proper cabin
Gullwing doors on both sides are an Axopar signature, one folding forward and one aft. Inside the cross cabin there are three captain's chairs, a center galley that slides out of the way and a dining table for eight. Upholstery throughout is a cooler-to-the-touch material, and the aft deck has U-shaped seating with a table that lowers into a sunbed.

Bow
The bow has a comfortable cushion and a sunbed with bolsters that flows up onto the gullwing doors.

Lower cabin

Aft deck
U-shaped seating surrounds a high-low table that drops to make a sunbed with a filler cushion. The gunwales fold down on both sides.

Sun Top and aft cabin
The 45 Sun Top is the open version, with the same fold-down sides and a forward cabin with AC and a head. The aft cabin option adds a second sleeping space.

The 45 XC Cross Cabin gives you a lot of boat for different kinds of days. The enclosed cabin with dining for eight works in any weather, the gullwing doors make moving around easy, and the fold-down sides turn the stern into a swim platform for the kids. If you want it more open, the 45 Sun Top shares the layout without the cabin. An optional aft cabin adds space for guests.
