Turkish shipyard Bering Yachts has laid the keel for the first Bering 110 (B110), marking the start of construction on a new generation of modern explorer yachts. The milestone follows the model’s market debut just weeks ago, with the inaugural hull already sold to a private client.

Described by the yard as a “modern yet true explorer,” the 33.1-meter B110 blends expedition-level range with superyacht sophistication. Designed in collaboration with Red Yacht Design of London, the vessel introduces a bold, broad-shouldered profile and an impressive range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles. According to Bering, the new line will “combine the autonomy and reliability of a robust vessel with the volume and comfort expected of a superyacht.”

Of course, we recommend that prospective owners perform their own evaluation of each shipyard’s build standards, reputation, and production capabilities. Every yacht is a significant investment, and verifying a yard’s craftsmanship and reliability allows you to make a choice that aligns perfectly with your expectations and cruising plans. Working together and performing due diligence can help avoid wholly preventable tragedies like the fate of the Bayesian.

Engineering for Endurance

The Bering 110 is built for serious bluewater cruising, featuring a full-displacement steel hull, aluminium superstructure, and a 47,000-litre fuel capacity for long-distance autonomy. Every detail reflects practicality and endurance, from the oversized pantry designed for four weeks at sea to the asymmetrical main saloon—which sacrifices a starboard passageway to expand the interior by a full metre of width.

On the main deck, a forward galley and an elegant owner’s suite dominate the layout, while four guest cabins occupy the lower deck. The yacht’s 8.2-meter beam, 2.4-meter draft, and 299GT volume translate into exceptional interior space and ocean-going stability.

“With the Bering 110, we aimed to merge the bold spirit of exploration with the elegance of a superyacht,” said Fatih Sürekli, designer at Red Yacht Design. “She’s built to go anywhere in the world while offering the warmth and comfort of a true home at sea.”

Custom Comfort and Long-Range Luxury

Customization is a hallmark of Bering’s approach. Owners can personalize the B110 with foldable outdoor furniture, a flybridge Jacuzzi and bar, or an expandable beach club that doubles as a gym, sauna, or lounge for long-range expeditions. The cockpit accommodates al fresco dining, while open decks invite panoramic sea views.

Each element underscores Bering’s evolving design language, one that combines purposeful engineering with livable luxury.

A Growing Legacy of Explorer Yachts

The B110 joins Bering’s expanding lineup of steel-hulled explorer yachts, led by the 49.4-meter B165, which drew significant attention at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. According to BOATPro, Bering Yachts currently has four explorer projects under construction, solidifying its position as one of the most active shipyards in the expedition yacht segment.

With the B110, Bering Yachts continues to advance its mission: crafting vessels that inspire freedom without compromise in yachts capable of traversing the world’s oceans while delivering the craftsmanship, comfort, and capability demanded by today’s most adventurous owners.
