The 2025 edition of the Nations Trophy wrapped up in spectacular fashion in Saint-Tropez, bringing to a close the annual ClubSwan Racing Nations League. Over five thrilling days, more than 50 Nautor Swan yachts and sailors from over 30 nations converged on the iconic French Riviera town for a celebration of elite sailing, camaraderie, and style.

Organized by Nautor Swan’s dedicated racing division, ClubSwan Racing, the Nations League comprises eight regattas across the Mediterranean each year. The 2025 circuit began in Monaco in March and toured through scenic ports like Bonifacio, Porto Cervo, and Lake Garda before culminating in this season-defining finale in Saint-Tropez.

This year’s ultimate victor was Germany, taking home the coveted Nations Trophy. The win was largely credited to the dominance of Earlybird, a ClubSwan 50 owned by Hendrik Brandis, and Ambra in the Swan Rating fleet—making Germany the first nation to win both the One Design and Rating divisions in a single season.

Additional class winners included:

  • Cuordileone in the ClubSwan 36 class
  • Nadir in the fiercely contested ClubSwan 42 class
  • Vargen, undefeated in the ClubSwan 43 class
  • Ulika, who claimed the Swan 45 title
  • Freya, a ClubSwan 28 owned by Jay Cross, emerging as a standout in the youngest and fastest-growing class

Meanwhile, the Rating class saw Quatre Quarts 4, a Swan 58 from France, take the top prize—demonstrating the competitive edge of performance cruisers in a fleet known for its diversity in size and design.

Giovanni Pomati, CEO of Nautor Swan, also raced as an owner, describing the week as “intense, meaningful, and above all, fun,” praising the atmosphere and the decision to race the Rating and One Design fleets side by side for the first time.

Final season titles for the 2025 ClubSwan Nations League were awarded at the regatta’s close. Victors included:

  • Earlybird in the ClubSwan 50
  • Pez de Abril in the ClubSwan 42 (despite not racing at the finale)
  • Fra Martina in the ClubSwan 36
  • Marcello in the ClubSwan 28
  • Anya Race was named Boat of the Year
  • Nick Beulke of Earlybird received the Best Bowman Trophy

Luisa Bambozzi, Managing Director of ClubSwan Racing, summed up the season: “2025 has been a year defined by performance, elegance, and a sense of community that makes ClubSwan so unique. With plans to expand into the USA and Japan next year, 2026 is shaping up to be even more exciting.”

The official calendar for the 2026 Nations League is expected to be announced soon.
