Comet 51 DH del 2002 unico proprietario in ottime condizioni, il 51 DH è un progetto A. Vallicelli caratterizzato dal salone panoramico (cioè luminoso e gradevole quando si sta dentro) ma pensato anche e soprattutto per essere vissuto fuori.
lo scafo è lo stesso dell’abbondantemente apprezzato 51 Sport: uno scafo tirato, dalle linee tese e performanti.
Basta solo analizzare i numeri, immersione 2,5 metri e 13.000 kg di peso, per capirne l’essenza e, provandola, rimarrete stupiti di quanto sia agile e reattiva con poco vento.
Solo che, con quella coperta e quella tuga, non lo immaginereste mai descrizione esterna: Senza perdere nulla delle comodità di un tipico pozzetto centrale, il Comet 51 DH è infatti pensato e realizzato per essere vissuto in climi caldi e solari.
Ampio spazio a zone esterne da vivere, come i due grandi prendisole, ma anche scafo e piano velico moderni, molto performanti e nello stesso tempo adatti a un equipaggio ridotto all’osso. A poppa spiaggetta e scaletta bagno.

Descrizione interna:
Il quadrato, è ampio e correttamente dimensionato anche in senso longitudinale.
La dinette è composta da un tavolo di forma regolare e un divano a “C”.
Il posizionamento del motore sotto la scala ha permesso di ottenere un calpestio, su un unico livello, ampio e libero, con possibilità di mettere due sedie regista di fronte al divano ottenendo, di fatto, 7/8 sedute.
Dalla parte opposta vi è il carteggio: alla tipica disposizione si è preferito un tavolino servito da un doppio divanetto, ottenendo il duplice scopo di destinare il piano anche a usi “sociali” e di ottenere, abbassando il tavolo, una pratica cuccetta di guardia.
Nel complesso il quadrato risulta ovviamente panoramico ma anche arioso e ben disegnato, complice anche la contiguità con la grande cucina. Ben realizzate le finestrature, tutte fisse, con ampie cornici di legno. Verso prua vi è un disimpegno che dà accesso a una cabina con letti a castello, dotata di buon calpestio, un bagno di buone dimensioni e alla cabina di prua, completa di letti a “V” che, uniti formano un grande matrimoniale.
Andando verso poppa si incontra la cucina, uno degli elementi migliori della barca. Organizzata su due fronti, è ricca sia di spazi per lavorare che di stivaggio, ha due frigoriferi (uno verticale) e risulta ben sfruttabile anche da più persone.
Oltre vi è l’appartamento armatoriale, composto da una grande cabina, con letto matrimoniale e tanti armadi, e di bagno dedicato, ben rifinito e completo di box doccia separato.

Comet 51 DH – Year 2002, single owner, in excellent condition. The Comet 51 DH is a design by Andrea Vallicelli, characterized by its panoramic saloon (bright and comfortable for interior living), while also being primarily designed to be enjoyed outdoors.

The hull is the same as the widely appreciated Comet 51 Sport: a sleek, high-performance hull with sharp, modern lines.
Just looking at the specs—2.5 m draft and 13,000 kg displacement—you can already understand its character. Once under sail, you’ll be impressed by how agile and responsive it is, even in light wind conditions.
Yet, with that deckhouse and superstructure, you wouldn’t expect such performance.

Exterior Description

Without sacrificing the comfort of a typical center cockpit, the Comet 51 DH is designed and built to be enjoyed in warm, sunny climates.
There is plenty of outdoor living space, including two large sunbathing areas. At the same time, the hull and sail plan are modern and highly efficient, while still manageable with a minimal crew.
At the stern, there is a swim platform and bathing ladder.

Interior Description

The saloon is spacious and well-proportioned, including longitudinally.
The dinette features a regular-shaped table and a “C”-shaped sofa.

The engine is positioned beneath the companionway steps, allowing for a single-level floor throughout the saloon—wide, open, and unobstructed. This layout also allows for the addition of two director’s chairs in front of the sofa, creating seating for up to 7–8 people.

Opposite the dinette is the chart area: instead of the traditional layout, it features a table with a double bench seat, serving both as a social space and, when lowered, as a practical watch berth.

Overall, the saloon is panoramic, airy, and well-designed, enhanced by its connection to the large galley. The windows are well-crafted, all fixed, with wide wooden frames.

Moving forward, a corridor leads to:

A cabin with bunk beds and good headroom

A generously sized bathroom

A forward cabin with V-shaped berths that convert into a large double bed

Aft, you’ll find the galley—one of the boat’s strongest features.
Arranged on two sides, it offers ample workspace and storage, includes two refrigerators (one vertical), and is easily usable by multiple people at once.

Further aft is the owner’s suite, consisting of:

A large cabin with double bed and extensive wardrobe space

A private bathroom, well-finished and equipped with a separate shower box
