The Malibu 21 MLX was introduced for the 2017 model year as part of the Wakesetter lineup, designed to deliver top-tier surf and wakeboard performance at a more accessible price point. It was created to fill the gap between Malibu’s 20 VTX crossover model and larger boats like the 22 MXZ and 23 LSV. The 21 MLX measures 21 feet 11 inches in length with a beam of 102 inches and has remained a core model in Malibu’s lineup through the early 2020s.
Built on Malibu’s proven Wake Plus hull, the 21 MLX is optimized for wakeboarding and wakesurfing, generating large, clean, and customizable wakes.
