Fabbro F33R Video Review: An 11 ft Beam and Twin Mercury 400Rs
By the YachtWay editorial deskUpdated October 2026Video walkthrough7 min read
The Fabbro F33R is the racing version of the F33, with blacked-out hardware and twin Mercury 400R outboards. We walked the enclosed coupe version. At 11 ft, the beam is wide for a 33 ft boat, and half balconies fold down in the cockpit for more seating. Inside the hardtop there is a lounge with two fridges, a helm, a cooktop and a sink, and below deck a forward cabin and a head.
A lot of boat packed into 33 ft
We started at the stern, where twin Mercury 400Rs and black hardware give away the R line. The cockpit has seating facing aft and forward around a folding table, with half balconies that fold down on both sides. The deck is asymmetric: a full walkaround on the starboard side and a bigger sunbed pushed to port at the bow. Inside, the coupe cabin has a lounge, a galley and a helm, with a cabin and head below.

Stern and engines
The F33R is the racing version of the F33, and the stern shows it: twin Mercury 400Rs and blacked-out hardware for a sportier look.
- Gates.Small gates on both sides keep kids and pets in.
- Live well.An option if you want to use her for fishing.
- Lighting.Pop-up lights for evenings on board.
- Audio.Speakers right below the seating.
Cockpit and half balconies
The cockpit has a seat facing aft and one facing forward, with a dining table between them. Half balconies fold down on both sides to add seating.
- Half balconies.Raised above the waterline to keep the gunwale high.
- Latches.Kept high so water stays out.
- Table.Folds down to make walking around easier.
Side decks and bow
The deck is asymmetric. There is a full walkaround on the starboard side and a semi walkaround to port, so the bow sunbed can be bigger.
- Boarding gate.On the port side for stepping off at the dock.
- Roof storage. The hardtop holds the bow Bimini poles.
- Floodlights. On the hardtop for running at night.
- Bow.Speakers, handrails and access to the anchor.
Coupe cabin
A sliding door opens into the cabin, with plenty of headroom. The windshield folds out for fresh air, and large windows on both sides bring in light.
- Fridges.A Dometic fridge under the seats and a second one beside them.
- Table.Folds out from the L-shaped seating.
- Controls.Audio and light switches next to the seats.
- Shade.A cover pulls across to keep the sun out.
Helm and galley
The helm has Garmin displays, Mercury engine controls and a Victron energy system, so you can run on batteries at anchor without the generator.
- Helm seat. The backrest folds over to face aft.
- Cooktop.Right next to the helm, with a vent above.
- Hidden sink.Under the companion bench, which folds up.
- Storage.Cubbies under the helm and below the cooktop.
Forward cabin and head
Forward there is a cabin for the owner that closes off for privacy, with a bed close to queen size. Next to it, the head has a toilet, a sink and a shower.
Forward cabin
- Bed.Close to queen size, with storage below.
- Light.A porthole and a skylight with a shade.
- Details.Cubbies and power sockets by the bed.
Head
- Shower.A wand that mounts on the wall.
- Storage.Plenty of space for a 33 ft boat.
The F33R packs a lot into 33 ft. The 11 ft beam and the fold-down half balconies make the cockpit feel bigger, and the asymmetric deck gives you both a walkaround and a large sunbed. The coupe cabin adds a lounge, a cooktop and a hidden sink, so a quick weekend in Bimini is realistic. Twin Mercury 400Rs give her plenty of power. We did not sea trial this boat.
