Vanquish VQ58 Video Review: Misters, a VQ11 and Detail Everywhere
By the YachtWay editorial deskUpdated October 2026Video walkthrough6 min read
The Vanquish VQ58 is the Dutch builder's most popular model, an aluminium dayboat built around outdoor living. We walked her from the swim platform to the engine room. A garage holds a VQ11 tender that matches the boat, plus two Seabobs and paddle boards, misters in the hardtop cool the cockpit, and the swim platform lifts to dock height. Below deck there is a lounge, a dry head and a full-beam owner's cabin.
The detail is the point
Every part of the VQ58 has been thought about: Vanquish-branded cup holders, speaker grilles and latches, a stainless steel anchor chain with colour markers, an anodised line holder for mooring buoys and even a Vanquish hammer in the anchor locker. The paint has no visible flaws, and every item in the engine room is labelled. The boat is set up for an owner who drives.

The VQ58 is built for people who notice details. The tender garage, the misters and the rising platform make days on board easy, and the anchor locker and engine room show a level of finish you rarely see. The cockpit is about outdoor living, with deep cushions and an ice-box table, while below deck there is enough for an occasional night away. Twin IPS 950s give a quoted cruise of 25 to 26 knots.
