The Azimut 85 Ultimate has long been regarded as one of the most balanced flybridge yachts of her era—an Italian design that blends presence, proportion, and offshore capability with enduring appeal. This 1998 example stands apart immediately, not for novelty, but for the depth of care, investment, and stewardship evident throughout. She presents today as a serious cruising yacht with pedigree, substance, and confidence.

More than $1,000,000 has been invested in a comprehensive refit program completed in May 2022, followed by continued upgrades and preventive maintenance. This has not been a cosmetic exercise, but a thoughtful modernization focused on reliability, usability, and long-term ownership. New flooring has been installed throughout, with the salon currently undergoing a fresh refit to further elevate the interior experience. Maintained by a full-time professional crew, systems are kept current and the yacht remains in turnkey condition, ready for immediate use.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3412 (3JK) engines with approximately 4,800 hours, the yacht delivers the solid, predictable performance these platforms are known for. ZF transmissions, bow and stern thrusters, and dual Naiad stabilizers combine to make handling calm and precise—whether maneuvering in close quarters or settling into longer passages. With roughly 2,000 gallons of fuel capacity, she offers the range and autonomy expected of a yacht designed for serious cruising. A Kohler generator and 25-gallon-per-hour watermaker support extended time aboard without compromise.

Inside, the yacht is arranged for comfort, flow, and privacy. A four-stateroom guest layout is complemented by dedicated crew quarters, making her equally suitable for private family use or charter-style operation. The interior spaces feel purposeful and livable, designed for owners who value time aboard rather than dockside display. Updated navigation equipment, including dual Garmin 5212 displays at both the main helm and flybridge, integrates seamlessly with autopilot, Icom VHF, and satellite TV, while a premium Bose audio system provides refined sound throughout.

The flybridge remains the social centerpiece of the yacht—open, spacious, and well-equipped for long afternoons or evening gatherings. With generous lounge seating, air conditioning, and an ice maker, it is a space that naturally draws people together. A tender garage houses a Yamaha Deluxe Jet Ski, adding versatility and fun at anchor without sacrificing clean exterior lines.

This Azimut 85 Ultimate represents an opportunity to acquire a thoroughly refit, professionally maintained flybridge yacht with timeless Italian design and proven mechanical foundations—without the cost or complexity of a newer build. Inspections are welcomed for qualified buyers seeking a yacht that has been thoughtfully upgraded, properly cared for, and is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
