An Exclusive 3D Tour of the Most Expensive Yacht in the World: Lürssen's Masterpiece, Ahpo

And yes, it's actually for sale.

An Exclusive 3D Tour of the Most Expensive Yacht in the World: Lürssen's Masterpiece, Ahpo

Beyond superyacht, beyond megayacht, this is gigayacht territory, designed for people who want to feel like they're living life at its peak on Poseidon's personal floating lounge.

Built in 2021 and custom-designed by famed design team Nuvolari Lenard, Ahpo is a 377-foot work of art, and that's no exaggeration. Nothing compares to the full walkthrough (scroll down), but for a teaser, check out some of the interior shots:

The level of craftsmanship and quality materials in the details is almost difficult to fathom — look twice or three times, and you'll notice something new every time.

But like I said: nothing compares to being able to examine every single detail of a custom Lürssen, and our own YachtWay Studio recently finished a meticulous walkthrough that lets you do just that. For example:

This stunning staircase didn't make it into the chosen interior photos, and it's one of about a million intricate, artistic design choices that make the entire walkthrough feel like a wander through a custom-designed mansion — you'd hardly know it's floating at a dock.

With luxury increasingly pushing the boundaries of yacht design, it makes a certain kind of sense that the industry's begun taking pages from real estate's book: a yacht's a big investment, and potential buyers like to see more than a handful of carefully-curated images. (On a superyacht like Ahpo, also, it's difficult to give a sense of the sheer size through a small gallery — if you take a look at both, you'll see what I mean.) The demand for 3D and video yacht tours is rising, but just as the technology in real estate branched outward from oceanside mansions to nearly all major property listings, expect the trend in yachts to make its way to anything large enough to warrant a tour. Studies across industries have shown that buyers are increasingly trying to gather information online, on their own, before making decisions.

(For the curious — and interior-design enthusiasts — YachtWay has filters for 3D tours, video tours, and comprehensive spotlights, also produced by our in-house studio. I'd like to say "we wear boat shoes so you don't have to," but then I'd have to defend boat shoes against myself.) But back to this tour:

Hot tip: the little arrow on the lower-left corner hides most of the interface.

I look at yacht interiors every day, and I still can't stop pausing on all the details. That painstaking mosaic work! The chinoiserie ceiling! It's like a little piece of Versailles.

See for yourself, and trust me: don't skip any rooms; they're all different.
