Organisers of the Dubai International Boat Show have announced that the 2026 edition of the event will be postponed amid escalating military tensions across the Middle East. Originally scheduled to take place from 8–12 April 2026, the show will now be held from 25–29 November 2026, aligning the event with the start of the region’s peak cruising season.

According to organisers, the revised schedule is expected to create stronger market conditions for yacht launches, sales activity and international attendance. The move also marks a long-term change for the event, which will now take place permanently each November going forward.

The decision comes as Dubai regional security concerns continue to develop. The conflict began on 28 February following coordinated airstrikes by Israel and the United States on multiple sites across Iran, and the situation has since raised concerns about potential instability around the Strait of Hormuz. With uncertainty surrounding safe transit for vessels heading into the Gulf, the rescheduling aims to provide greater clarity and stability for exhibitors, yacht owners and global visitors planning to attend.
