Ferretti's no stranger to sleek, stylish, light-filled designs, but the 940 represents a new milestone even for the storied Italian shipyard: the widebody design delivers a spacious interior that truly makes it feel like home on the water.

With the first hull launching just last month, the 940 feels like deliciously fresh slice of luxury, meticulously designed to look as smooth as it cuts through the water. From the outset, the project included Piero Ferrari — yes, the son of the Enzo Ferrari — so a high standard of luxury was guaranteed, and Ferretti came through with flying colors, with the exterior design by the award-winning Filippo Salvetti, and the interiors rocking the sleek modernist styling of Italian firm Ideaeitalia. Marble, luxe warm textures, and mood lighting abound.

Under the hood, the 940 doesn't disappoint: twin 2,000-horsepower V-12 engines give it a cruising speed of 21 knots and a top speed of 25 knots, so you can hop between atolls or just take a weekend cruise with time to spare — and with five cabins, you'll have plenty of room to take your envious friends along, too.
