Stepping into the realm of luxury yachting, the Italian master Sanlorenzo has once again outdone itself with the introduction of the SX120. As the largest model in their crossover yacht lineup, the SX120 is a brilliant synthesis of the best attributes found in flybridge and explorer yachts.
Measuring an impressive 120 feet with a commanding gross tonnage of 270 GT, this elegant vessel is poised to make its grand premiere at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. The Sanlorenzo SX120 builds upon the refined SX concept, emphasizing expansive onboard spaces, seamlessly open-plan layouts, and an intimate connection with the surrounding environment.
Among its many standout features, the SX120 offers a breathtaking extended beach area. This design marvel expands dramatically from approximately 430 to 753 square feet by using innovative folding side terraces, complete with a retractable pool for added indulgence.
Setting a new standard, the SX120 is the first superyacht to incorporate Volvo Penta’s cutting-edge IPS Professional Platform. This propulsion system, featuring four 1,000 hp engines, promises enhanced maneuverability, decreased engine room space, and overall improvement in performance. Notably, the Eco Mode optimizes power output, reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
Inside, the space gained through this sophisticated propulsion system has allowed for a creative four-deck layout. The belowdecks area includes four plush guest staterooms, with one adaptable as a lounge, crew quarters, and even a relaxing hammam. Main deck features include a lavish salon, a 14-seater dining area, and a secluded owners’ stateroom with private access to the bow, all seamlessly connected by a distinctive staircase crafted by Piero Lissoni.
The upper deck is a versatile haven offering panoramic views, easily convertible to serve as a media room, dining area, or playroom as needed. Above, the sun deck boasts the "Smart Island" modular seating system, allowing limitless customization for owners.
Interior detailing throughout the SX120 includes exquisite wooden paneling, refined steel-effect finishes, and stylish flooring with alternating parquet and carpet. The owners’ stateroom is exemplified by a artistically backlit headboard, elegantly separating the sleeping space from the closet area.
