THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH: One of the World's Fastest Superyachts
Experience the luxury and speed of the 42.4m superyacht "WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH," a pinnacle of nautical engineering.

It's been 20 years since legendary superyacht The World Is Not Enough burst onto the scene, and— in a true testament to the geniuses behind its design— it's still, in 2025, the third-fastest superyacht in existence. Let's explore a rare combination of luxury, speed, and brilliance from the well-respected Dutch yacht design firm Mulder and custom builder Millennium Superyachts.
Rocketship speed is its most famous aspect, and even so long after its launch, it far outstrips newer rivals: with a cruising speed of 50+ knots and a max speed of 67 knots, this is a yacht for people who have places to be. 18-cylinder diesel engines with a maximum combined horsepower of over 20,000, a 15,000 gallon fuel capacity, and a relatively lightweight aluminum hull mean The World Is Not Enough has a maximum single-journey length of 3,800 nautical miles— in other words, you could travel from Miami to Trinidad and Tobago and back, stopping at plenty of islands along the way, before you'd have to refuel.
At the same time, the designers wanted to prioritize passengers' comfort on their lightning-fast travels— sometimes a sacrifice, rather than a focus, of speed-based builds. The hull's shape was made to eliminate vibration and minimize engine noise, but that was just the beginning:

With living spaces devised by renowned luxury interior designer Evan K. Marshall, it's the inside of The World Is Not Enough that really inspires a stop-and-stare reaction. The abundance of comfortable lighting— note the windows on either side of the salon for natural daylight, as well— and the almost mosaic-style mirrors create a feeling of well-proportioned space that's a little akin to sitting in a private art gallery.

The cabins are no less sumptuous, with warm colors and lush textures like brocade, burlwood, and marble combined with generous windows for an ultra-luxury feel.
The World Is Not Enough flies the Seychelles flag, and has only ever been owned by serial yacht owner John Staluppi.
