Unleashing the Power: Cigarette Racing Revolutionizes with the All-New 52' Thunder Center Console
Since its acquisition by billionaire entrepreneur John H. Ruiz and Lionheart Capital in 2021, Cigarette Racing, the renowned brand, has wasted no time in making bold moves to solidify its position in the market.
Under the new leadership of CEO Alex Ruiz, the company has embarked on a mission to broaden its appeal and take the legendary brand to new heights. This ambition was evident in several recent announcements, including plans for a 130-foot superyacht and a lineup of electric personal watercraft (PWC).
The latest revelation comes in the form of the all-new 52′ Thunder Center Console, a significant addition to the Cigarette Racing lineup. Positioned between the existing 42′ Auroris and the flagship 59′ Tirranna, this model showcases a modernized design philosophy, emphasizing enhanced amenities and improved layout.
The 52′ Thunder introduces exciting features that cater to the needs of discerning boaters. At the stern, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen takes center stage, accompanied by an adjustable and removable social table. With the table in place, up to six individuals can enjoy a cozy dining experience, but its removal transforms the area into a spacious social lounge extending from the helm to the transom. Furthermore, hydraulic storage solutions have been incorporated throughout the boat, including large button-activated storage lockers at the stern for water toys and additional lockers near the helm and bow.
The helm station of the 52′ Thunder provides an expansive layout, accommodating seven passengers in hydraulic racing-style seating. Each seat can be fully adjusted with button-activated controls to ensure optimal comfort. The helm is equipped with oversized Garmin dual screens, offering a wide array of touchscreen-activated technology.
Towards the bow, a generous lounge area awaits, capable of seating 8-10 individuals. It features a second adjustable and removable social table, while a control station grants passengers control over the stereo system and lights. For those seeking relaxation, a sizable forward-facing sunbed accommodates up to three passengers.
“We’re very excited about the future of Cigarette Racing. There’s lots more to come.” – CEO Alex Ruiz
Below deck, boaters will discover a full-size cuddy cabin boasting 6’6″ of headspace and adjustable windows on either side. These windows can be easily adjusted through button activation, transitioning from a dark tint for nighttime privacy to clear glass for daytime views. The cuddy cabin includes impressive features such as 4K televisions, a complete head with a shower and sink, and a full-size mirror. Additionally, a 16,000 BTU air conditioning unit and a 15kW generator provide extra comfort during extended trips.
Alex Ruiz, the CEO of Cigarette Racing, expressed great enthusiasm for the 52′ Thunder, stating, “We’re extremely excited about the introduction of the 52′ Thunder. It fills the gap between the 42′ and 59′ models, and we received numerous requests from customers for such an offering. It perfectly embodies the performance and quality that defines Cigarette Racing. From the hull to the interior, everything is brand new, showcasing the meticulous work we put into it. The interior design and finishes are exactly what we envisioned. The future of Cigarette Racing looks incredibly promising, with many more exciting developments on the horizon.”
The 52′ Thunder boasts an LOA (Length Overall) of 52’1″ (15.85 m) without outboards and a beam (width) of 14′ (4.26 m). It maintains a 36″ draft at full load, weighs 29,000 lbs (13,150 kg) when dry, and features a transom with a deadrise of 24 degrees, reminiscent of Cigarette’s premium 515 model.
