2022 Lagoon 46 te koop in Fort Myers, Florida
2022 Lagoon 46 Crazy Idea | Fort Myers Beach, FL
The Lagoon 46 stands among the most capable and sought-after bluewater cruising catamarans available today, combining voluminous living space with a performance-oriented hull shape and exceptional build quality. Since its introduction, the model has attracted serious bluewater cruisers and liveaboards alike who want a vessel that is equally at home on a transoceanic passage as it is swinging on the hook in a remote anchorage. The three-cabin owner's version takes that experience a step further, dedicating an entire hull to a private owner's suite that delivers a level of onboard comfort few similarly sized vessels can rival.
Hull #288 is a standout among pre-owned Lagoon 46s for one reason above all others: she has never been chartered. This is a privately owned, owner-operated vessel that has been maintained and upgraded to an exceptionally high standard throughout her life. Rather than opting for charter revenue, the owner invested in the systems that make extended offshore cruising genuinely self-sufficient, building out a 2,400W solar array, 1,800 Ah of lithium house batteries, dual Victron inverters, a high-output watermaker, and a full complement of cruising-grade electronics. With fresh bottom paint, a May 2026 service on both engines, sail drives, windlass, and generator, and consistently low hours across all major systems, this vessel is as close to turnkey bluewater-ready as the pre-owned market produces.
This world-class vessel is duty paid and ready to sail away.

Propulsion and Handling
Twin Yanmar 4JH57 diesel engines, upgraded from factory spec to 57 HP each, provide reliable and well-matched power for maneuvering and blue-water passages alike. Both engines logged 742 and 737 hours respectively and were fully serviced recently, alongside the sail drives, windlass, and generator. Flexofold folding propellers are fitted on both shafts, meaningfully reducing drag under sail and maximizing performance across all points of sail. There are no bow or stern thrusters fitted, keeping the underwater profile clean.
Electronics and Navigation
The helm station is anchored by a B&G Zeus 3S 16-inch chartplotter mounted in a dedicated pod, paired with a B&G Zeus 3S 12-inch display at the nav station below, also in a leather-covered pod. A B&G Halo 20 radar provides reliable situational awareness in reduced visibility, and an AIS 500 B&G transceiver with antenna coupling handles collision avoidance and vessel tracking. Autopilot is managed through a B&G system with a wireless autopilot remote for hands-free passage-making. VHF communications are handled by a B&G VHF V90S wired handset at the chart table plus a second H50 wireless handset with a wireless charging cradle at the flybridge.
A high-performance flat-panel Starlink antenna is installed and wired directly to the salon TV area, providing high-speed satellite internet at anchor or offshore. The helm station also features a windlass remote with chain counter, and an additional foredeck windlass control with wired remote is fitted forward.
Electrical and Comfort Systems
The electrical system has been comprehensively rebuilt around a 1,800 Ah lithium house battery bank paired with 2,400 watts of solar panels installed on a custom 316 stainless steel gantry. Individual MPPT controllers are dedicated to each panel, maximizing solar harvest across varying shade and sun angles. A Victron 5K inverter handles the AC loads, including the watermaker, engine room circuits, and outdoor AC outlets, while a Victron 3K inverter replaced the factory Mastervolt unit to manage house loads. System monitoring and management run through a Victron Cerbo GX with Touch 70 display. New AGM batteries have been installed for engine and generator starting circuits.
Dometic air conditioning units are fitted with soft starts, allowing them to run from the inverters without the generator. The Onan 13.5 kVA generator (approximately 1,080 hours, serviced May 2026) remains available for higher-demand scenarios or shore power charging. A Seawater Pro 40 GPH watermaker is installed with a control panel located in the galley for easy operation. Real-time bilge, refrigeration, and power monitoring with internet-based alerts is also active, enabling remote system oversight from anywhere.
Galley & Salon Accommodations
The open-plan salon and galley are designed for extended liveaboard comfort. The galley is equipped with a 90L refrigerator and 65L freezer in drawer format, a three-burner propane stovetop, microwave, a full-height 18-inch Samsung dishwasher, and a dedicated icemaker with carbon filter located in the cockpit. A seawater electrical pump with dedicated tap and hot and cold pressure freshwater are plumbed throughout.
The salon features a larger LG TV on an upgraded mount, Bose Freespace 3 speakers, and a Fusion RA70N audio system serving the salon, cockpit, and flybridge through six speakers. Indirect lighting in the cabins and salon creates a relaxed ambiance at anchor, and 12V adjustable fans are installed throughout. USB sockets are provided in each cabin and at the salon chart table.
The three-cabin owner's configuration places the owner's suite in the port hull, with a walk-around queen berth, comfortable slat base, and a washer/dryer. The two forward cabins are currently outfitted for storage, offering generous additional capacity. All three cabins feature under-bed comfort slats and indirect lighting. Freshwater heads have been installed throughout, though the saltwater supply can be reactivated if preferred.
Deck and Cockpit
The cockpit is finished in teak with teak sugar scoops and a large foldable teak table with cover. Aft cockpit and forward cockpit cushion sets are aboard, along with a sliding cockpit bench and cockpit sides with aft sun canvas. A cockpit refrigerator with small freezer (80L/21 US gal) and a cockpit icemaker with dedicated carbon filter are installed. The helm station features a full cover and a windlass remote with chain counter.
The tender hydraulic lift platform features folding wings that double as a swim platform/lounge area, accommodating the Highfield CL340 dinghy with a maximum capacity appropriate for the platform. The dinghy is equipped with a 25HP Yamaha outboard (upgraded from the factory Honda 20HP), a 6-gallon fuel tank (upgraded from the factory 2.5-gallon unit), a console steering system, and a Garmin GPS chartplotter with depth sounder. A carbon fiber passerelle with slim pivot pintal is mounted on the starboard sugar scoop for easy boarding at stern-to docking.
Additional deck and cockpit features include:
- Hard-top with full enclosure
- Teak outdoor dining chairs
- Sun shade for bow seating area
- Pulpits with wooden seats
- Fishing rod storage system integrated into the flybridge
- Deck courtesy lights in cockpits, transoms, and flybridge
- Four underwater spotlights (blue)
- Freshwater and seawater deck wash pumps
- Port and starboard bow lockers (oversized)
- Forward port and starboard cabin bow areas configured for storage
Sailplan
The Lagoon 46 is rigged for efficient cruising across all points of sail, with all-electric flybridge winches replacing the standard configuration and an electric flatwinder for the mainsail traveller. A lazy bag is fitted on the standard aluminum boom. A North Sails Code 0 with complete rigging and lines is part of the inventory and carries no logos, giving the vessel a clean, understated appearance offshore. The bowsprit is fitted for gennaker or screecher deployment.
Safety and Anchoring
The primary anchor is an 82-pound Mantus 1 in stainless construction with a Mantus swivel and half-inch chain, paired with a Mantus anchor bridle for secure overnight holding. An electric windlass handles anchor deployment and retrieval. Safety equipment is aboard and appropriate for offshore passages.
Hull #288 represents the kind of pre-owned Lagoon 46 that serious buyers actively search for and rarely find: never chartered, thoughtfully upgraded, recently serviced, and genuinely ready to depart. The combination of energy independence through solar and lithium, reliable main engines with low hours, and a complete offshore electronics suite means there is very little left to add before casting off for extended bluewater cruising. Currently located at Fort Myers Beach, Florida, with convenient access from RSW (20 minutes), FLL (approximately 2 hours), TPA (approximately 2 hours 10 minutes), and MIA (approximately 2 hours 20 minutes). Private showings are available by appointment. Don’t let this one pass!
