1997 Ocean Yachts 40 Super Sport Te koop

This 1997 Ocean Yachts 40 Convertible presents an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable buyer looking for a well-built convertible with significant upgrades already completed and the ability to finish the boat to their own taste.

Ocean Yachts is known for producing solid, performance-oriented sportfish convertibles with practical layouts, strong offshore capability, and comfortable accommodations. The 40 Convertible is particularly popular for its spacious cockpit, efficient flybridge design, and roomy interior for a boat of this size.

This vessel has already undergone substantial improvements, with approximately 80% of the refit completed. The most time-consuming and expensive portions of the project have already been addressed, leaving primarily cosmetic finishing work for the next owner.

One of the standout features of the boat is the beautifully completed interior woodwork, which gives the yacht a warm, classic feel rarely found in many boats of this era. The craftsmanship throughout the cabin creates a clean and inviting space that blends traditional styling with modern updates.

Several key systems have also been upgraded to improve comfort and usability. The boat features a new air-conditioning unit for comfortable cruising in warm climates such as South Florida and the Bahamas, along with a modern refrigerator in the galley.

The convertible layout offers a large cockpit suitable for fishing or entertaining, while the flybridge provides excellent visibility and a commanding helm position. Inside, the salon and galley arrangement create an open and comfortable living space for weekends aboard or extended cruising.

Below deck, the accommodations provide generous sleeping space, storage, and a functional head layout, making the boat suitable for anglers, cruising couples, or families.

This vessel is being presented with full transparency. The boat is approximately 80% complete and requires carpet installation and several finishing components to be fully completed. This allows the next owner to personalize the final touches rather than paying for a fully finished refit.

For buyers who understand the value of solid construction and the cost of major refit work, this Ocean 40 represents a strong opportunity to acquire a proven convertible platform with substantial work already completed.
