Manari 52 Video Review: Loro Piana Interior and 32 Knots on IPS 800s

By the YachtWay editorial deskUpdated October 2026Video walkthrough7 min read

The Manari 52 is the first model from a new brand, designed with Red Yacht Design and built in Turkey. Its interior is trimmed in Loro Piana fabrics, cashmere and leather. We walked her in Miami, fresh from the Palm Beach show, then took her out on Biscayne Bay. With six people on board she planed at 15 knots and reached 32 knots on twin Volvo IPS 800s, without full throttle.

A new brand that starts with the fabrics

We had seen this boat being built in Turkey, and now she has arrived in Miami. The aft deck opens up with drop-down side balconies, and the helm looks like a fighter jet cockpit. Below deck is where she stands apart. Loro Piana fabrics, cashmere and taupe leather run through the salon and cabins, and owners can pick their own from a sample book.

What stood out on board

  • A Loro Piana interior
Cashmere, suede and leather from Loro Piana throughout, with a sample book so owners can choose their own.
  • 32 knots on our sea trial
On Biscayne Bay with six on board, into the wind and not at full throttle.
  • Drop-down side balconies
They fold out at the stern to widen the aft deck by the water.
  • A helm like a cockpit
Large Garmin screens, light switches beside them and a suede dash that stops reflections.
  • A huge one-piece windshield
It curves up and across, so you hardly feel the wind at speed.
  • 14 cup holders at the bow
Three on each side of the sunbed and eight in the table.

Sea trial on Biscayne Bay

At the helm on Biscayne Bay. 18:00

We took the Manari 52 out on Biscayne Bay in a light chop, with six people on board. The bow stayed low and the big windshield kept the wind off.

  • Planing.
    From about 15 knots.
  • Low cruise.
    20 knots at 2,100 to 2,200 rpm.
  • Fast cruise.
26 knots at 74% load, 28 knots at 80% into the wind.
  • Top speed.
32 knots, not at full throttle.
  • Handling.
Full-lock turns were smooth, with no slamming.
The verdict

The Manari 52 is a strong first boat from a new brand. On deck she has drop-down balconies, a grill and plenty of lounging, and the big windshield keeps the wind off at speed. Below, the Loro Piana fabrics and leather feel nothing like a usual 52 ft dayboat. On our sea trial she planed at 15 knots and reached 32 knots on IPS 800s without full throttle, riding smoothly through the chop.
