The 56' Rivale Super is considered an evolution of a much-admired Riva, and she was first shown to the world at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2026. Her restyling keeps the assured character of the original Rivale while giving her lines more balance and a more contemporary poise. On board, a series of careful ergonomic refinements makes her warmer and easier to live with, whether for an afternoon along the coast or a long weekend away.

Officina Italiana Design, the studio behind the original Rivale, drew her in, working with Riva's own engineering team. Their brief was to rethink how the boat is used without losing what makes her recognizably herself. The most telling change is between the cockpit and the interior, which now flow into one another. The result is more usable space, clearer sightlines, and a yacht that feels open rather than divided.

The cockpit is arranged for long afternoons. Sofas sit fore and aft, with a mahogany-topped table and a wet bar with an ice maker. Overhead, a concealed electro-hydraulic sunshade can be raised when the light turns. Forward, a bow sun pad with an adjustable headrest looks out over the water. At the stern, a carbon garage houses the tender, and a teak swim platform lowers to meet the water.

Below, the master and VIP cabins each have their own bathroom, finished in sole leather, glossy lacquer, and Corian. A separate day head opens from the dinette. A crew cabin with its own facilities is reached from the cockpit, so guests and crew can move around the boat without disturbing one another.

Twin MAN V8-1000 engines come as standard, with V8-1200s available as an option. Beneath her is a warped hull with spray rails and a 17.8° aft deadrise, giving her a top speed of 38 knots and a range of up to 210 nautical miles. The Rivale Super made her world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
