Mylius 47P Video Review: Four Mercury 500Rs and Two Separate Cabins
By the YachtWay editorial deskUpdated October 2026Video walkthrough6 min read
The Mylius 47P is a powerboat from Mylius, a shipyard known for performance sailing yachts. We walked her at a boat show in Europe. Four Mercury 500R outboards hang off the stern, carbon fibre shows up in the table, the footrest and the headboard, and two cabins each have their own entrance from the deck. The owner's cabin is full beam, and the guest cabin has its own wet head.
A sailing yacht builder goes outboard
We are seeing more and more outboard boats in Europe, and this one carries four Mercury 500R racing engines. The aft deck is a large sunbed with storage for water toys underneath, in front of a carbon dining table. The unusual part is the layout below: two cabins with separate entrances, so the owner and guests each have their own space.
What stood out on board
- Two separate cabin entrancesOne door leads to the owner's cabin, another to the guest cabin, with open deck between them.
- Four Mercury 500Rs2,000 hp of racing outboards on a boat from a sailing yacht builder.

- A summer kitchen under panelsA sink, a cooktop, a stainless fridge and an ice maker hide under lids.
- A full-beam owner's cabinA king-size bed, a wine cooler and a head with a carbon sink.
- Very tall backrestsThe dining backrest comes up to the shoulders.

The 47P brings a sailing yacht builder's care for detail to a fast outboard boat. Carbon shows up wherever you touch, the cleats are sized for a much bigger boat and four Mercury 500Rs give her serious power. The two separate cabin entrances are rare and give the owner and guests real privacy. We did not run her, but the builder quotes up to 56 knots.
