Alpha Alfresco 125 Video Review: A Plunge Pool and Dining for 20
By the YachtWay editorial deskUpdated October 2026Video walkthrough9 min read
The Alpha Alfresco 125 is a 125 ft motor yacht built in Turkey and designed in Italy, with most of its best spaces outdoors. We went back on board to see her fully set up for a day on the water. She has a beach club on the swim platform, a glass-walled dining area aft, a plunge pool and two dining tables on the sun deck, an open galley on the main deck and five en suite cabins for 12 guests.
A superyacht built for living outdoors
We had reviewed the Alfresco 125 before, and Alpha invited us back to see her set up as an owner would use her. The name says what she is about: outdoor living. The aft deck closes in with folding glass walls, the sun deck has a plunge pool, a bar and two dining tables, and the bow hides its anchor gear under teak boxes. With eight to 10 people on board, the owner's suite stayed as quiet as a library.
What stood out on board

- Anchor gear out of sightThe windlasses sit under teak boxes that double as benches or side tables.

Swim platform and aft deck
The swim platform lowers hydraulically and works as a beach club, with loose furniture and umbrellas. Staircases lead up to the main deck aft, where there is a lounge and a dining area for 12.
- Toys.Room for water toys and tenders on the platform, with toy storage to starboard.
- Gates.Large gates close off the stairs for kids and pets.
- Shade.A canvas Bimini clips on over the aft lounge.
- Glass walls.Stacking panels fold out to close in the dining area.
- Entertainment.A SunBrite outdoor TV and speakers under the lounge.
Side decks and bow
The side decks are wide, with bulwarks above belt height. Fold-out steps on both sides make it easy to get off the boat, and doors lead straight into the pilot house.
- Windows.Large side windows and a 45 degree glass panel up top bring light inside.
- Bow lounge.A sunbed, a forward-facing bench and U-shaped seating.
- Hidden anchors.Windlasses under teak boxes that work as benches.
- Crew door.A galley door to starboard, so crew can serve the bow.
Sun deck
The sun deck is where the Alfresco earns its name. The hardtop runs out to the sides for shade, and the teak ceiling stays out of the sun, so it needs less care.
- Plunge pool. With seating all around and a bow lounge in front.
- Summer kitchen.Ice boxes, fridges, an ice maker and a Kenyon grill.
- Bar.A counter with six stools and two SunBrite TVs.
- Dining.A table for 12 and a C-shaped table for eight.
- Aft lounge.Loose furniture on a carpet, with an awning overhead.
- Upper helm.A bridge station next to the summer kitchen.
Main deck interior and galley
Inside, there is room to reach up and only just touch the leather-textured ceiling. The salon has a large TV, a Miele wine cooler and loose furniture, and the floor is a textured teak.
- Main deck cabin.Twin beds with a pull-down Pullman and a marble bathroom.
- Day head.Marble, so guests do not use the cabins.
- Galley door.Opens with a wave of the hand, for crew carrying trays.
- Galley.A five-burner cooktop, an island, a dishwasher and a trash compactor.
- Pilot house.Throttles, thrusters and an adjustable Besenzoni helm seat.
Owner's suite
The owner's suite takes the full beam aft on the lower deck, behind its own door. With eight to 10 people on board, it stayed completely quiet.
- Bed.A California king, facing aft, with a TV in leather panelling.
- Seating.A seating area by the large hull windows.
- Vanity.A desk with organised storage on the starboard side.
- Closets. Two, both lit, with glass-front drawers and a safe.
- Bathroom.Marble, with two sinks and a walk-in shower with a bench.
Guest cabins, crew and engine room
The guest cabins share the owner's finishes, with thick doors that keep noise out. Every one has its own marble bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bench.
Guest cabins
- King cabin.A TV hidden behind a mirror wall.
- Twin cabin. Two beds and a Pullman, set up for kids, with a safe.
- VIP cabin.Forward, with a mirror that slides to show a window.
Crew area
- Mess.C-shaped seating, a TV and a small galley.
- Cabins.Three crew cabins, for six to seven crew.
- Laundry.Two Miele washer-dryers and a third washer.
- Toy store. With a Hoshizaki ice maker and an emergency helm.
Engine room
- Space.Full standing room, with a workbench.
- Layout.Labelled valves and tanks, and two generators.
The Alfresco 125 lives up to its name. The beach club, the glass-walled aft deck, the plunge pool and two dining tables on the sun deck give a group more places to spend the day than most yachts this size. Inside, the leather, marble and joinery are finished to a high standard, and the cabins stay quiet with a crowd on board. With five en suite cabins, a real crew area and a 2,300 nm range, she is ready for long family trips.
