De Antonio D37 Video Review: Hidden Outboards and a Tender Garage

By the YachtWay editorial deskUpdated October 2026Video walkthrough6 min read

The De Antonio D37 hides twin Mercury Racing outboards under its aft sunbed, and below them there is even a garage for an inflatable tender. The boat we filmed in Miami is the Alinghi Red Bull Racing edition, one of 37 built as chase boats for the America's Cup, painted in Red Bull blue inside and out. Below deck there are two cabins and a head, and on our run she cruised at 33 to 34 knots.

Outboards you cannot see

Push a button and the aft hatch lifts to show the outboards. Drop the engines down and a tender garage opens underneath, big enough for an inflatable with an electric motor, or a lot of storage. Above it all there is a sunbed of about 5 ft. The rest of the deck is practical: a U-shaped seating area, a small galley, a hardtop with an electric sunroof and a full windshield.

The verdict

The D37 shows how much De Antonio can fit into 37 ft. The outboards vanish under the sunbed, a tender fits underneath them, and the cockpit has seating for six, a galley and a hidden extra seat. The full windshield keeps you dry and the cockpit quiet at 30 plus knots, and she held 34 knots through a Miami chop with nothing rattling. Two cabins make a night on board easy.
