Tesoro T50 Video Review: Triple V12s, a Tender Garage, Three Cabins

By the YachtWay editorial deskUpdated October 2026Video walkthrough7 min read

The Tesoro T50 is a 53 ft dayboat built in Spain, and this is its triple outboard version with three Mercury 600 V12s. We walked her at the Cannes boat show. The swim platform doubles as a passerelle, the side terraces fold down and a tender garage with a hidden crane sits under the sunbed. The cockpit has an outdoor TV, a galley with a Hoshizaki ice maker and seating for eight. Below there is an owner's cabin with its own head, two guest cabins and a day head, plus a crew cabin aft.

A 50-footer that packs in a lot

On paper the T50 sounds like a much bigger boat: three cabins, a crew cabin, a tender garage, a laundry room and triple outboards. We started at the stern, where the swim platform rises to work as a passerelle or lowers into the water. The V12s free up space inside and are easy to service. The carbon hardtop has cutouts and LED strips, so the cockpit stays bright.

What stood out on board

  • A tender garage with a crane
Under the sunbed, with a custom Opacmare crane that lifts the tender straight into the water.
  • Fold-down side terraces
They widen the deck, with side gates for kids and pets when they are up.
  • A platform that is also a passerelle
It rises to step off at the dock, or lowers into the water around the V12s.
  • An outdoor TV that folds away
Push a button and it collapses to free up counter space.
  • A glass rinser at the bar
Press a glass onto it and water jets clean it, like in a bar.
  • Three cabins and a crew cabin
An owner's cabin with its own head, two guest cabins and a crew cabin for two.

Swim platform and terraces

  • Docking.
    A joystick with Skyhook.

Windows on both sides, one that opens.
  • TV.
A mirror that doubles as a TV.

The second guest cabin, a mirror image of the first. 12:20

Two guest cabins sit aft, one on each side, and share a day head that also has a rain shower.

  • Beds.
Set up as a queen, or split into two twins.
  • Mattresses.
    Plush, like memory foam.
  • Headroom.
Room to stand, with a little ducking to sit.
  • Comfort.
AC, light switches and power sockets within reach.
The verdict

The T50 fits a lot into 53 ft. Triple V12s, a tender garage with a crane, fold-down terraces and an outdoor TV make the deck feel like a much bigger boat. Below, an owner's cabin with its own head, two guest cabins with beds that split into twins and a crew cabin cover a full weekend away. The details, from the glass rinser to the Hoshizaki ice maker, show real care. We did not sea trial her, so we cannot speak to the ride.
