Zyara 44 Video Review: Triple V12s and a Helicopter-Style Windshield

By the YachtWay editorial deskUpdated October 2026Video walkthrough6 min read

The Zyara 44 is a performance dayboat built in Greece by the people behind Skipper, with the same stepped hull thinking. We walked hull number one. She has triple Mercury 600 V12 outboards, fold-out side terraces, a dining area and sunbed aft, a galley with a pop-up coffee machine, a helm under a huge wraparound windshield, a bow lounge and two cabins with a dry head.

A weapon on the water, with a sunbed

The Zyara 44 looks aggressive, with sharp lines, carbon details and a windshield that wraps around like a helicopter canopy. But it is also a comfortable dayboat, with side terraces for the kids, a sunbed and four fridges. This was hull number one, and the yard told us about small changes planned for the next one, like a handrail on the stairs and more storage.

What stood out on board

  • A wraparound windshield
It curves around the helm like a helicopter canopy, so nothing is out of view.
  • Cleats you cannot see
The cleats sit in boxes, with the lines running out through pipes.
  • Fold-out side terraces
They widen the aft deck, good for kids jumping in.
  • A pop-up coffee machine
It rises from the galley at the push of a button.
  • A four-step hull
The same stepped hull thinking as Skipper, on a dayboat.
  • A hidden anchor
It slides out of the bow on a telescoping arm, with a camera above.

A Garmin camera watches the anchor.
The verdict

The Zyara 44 makes a big first impression with its styling, its windshield and its triple V12s. Underneath the looks there is a practical dayboat: side terraces, a sunbed, four fridges, a coffee machine and two cabins with a good dry head. Hull number one still had a few details to finish, but the base is strong. For a fast, eye-catching dayboat in South Florida, she stands out.
